“I’ve been working on Skidderslectric since we [Bukechi] completed our debut album in 2009 – so around 6 years! I’ve written, produced, recorded and played all instruments on the album – and it’s been a labour of love. I am very pleased when I listen to the finished product – and especially grateful to Paul Hogg for the excellent Sound Engineering.”
The track O’Larso (see the featured track on the right) is a great example of Skidders versatility and for lovers of raunchy blues/rock the album is a treat.
Of the eleven rock/blues/jazz tracks, ten are instrumental, with one track Just Boozin’ featuring Skidders’ wife, Terryann, on vocals.
The final release date of the album isn’t set in stone although Steve has indicated that it will be available in the Spring rather than Summer. The 11 tracks are fully mixed and they are currently being mastered by Paul Hogg who runs the independent label – Force 8 Records. The album will retail on iTunes at the very attractive price of £4.99
